The Lighted Notes of Darkness
When the whirlpool of life takes its toll and the door of the unheard rings its bell,
There she plays her piano as toned as always, just hearing her notes sail.
Her fingers must be sweeping across the keys like a dream that creates a paradise of hope,
The music flows on its melancholic land beyond the fear of any slope.
Ah! Almighty! Save me. Will I never know why I get lost in its pathos?
What is it that draws me in amidst the worldly chaos?
My emotions seem to diverge at each note of this heavenly sound,
How can someone forge a world that speaks of agony but heralds a fresh day aloud?
Or perhaps she is just praising the world in the lap of mother nature,
And wants to wish us a great day for our each step begins a new adventure.
Oh! It’s so hard. But, what happened? I hear her no more and I search for the music
too pleasant to fade away at such a prime.
Sad, I gaze out of my window and get her glimpse for the first time.
I wonder how far her sight must have gone to engulf the whole world in her song;
Little do I know that I am just waiting to be proven so wrong.
All I see is a little girl coming to the balcony, with just a stick that guides her ahead,
It is now I know that the world has much more beyond all our senses together,
something she knows that I have never read…
